About the Founder
Sandile M. Kunene
Founder & Managing Director
Sandile M. Kunene is the Founder and Managing Director of Mtimande Engineers and Construction Managers (Pty) Ltd. With more than 18 years of experience in the construction and engineering industry, Sandile has successfully delivered projects across the civil engineering, building construction, housing infrastructure, mining infrastructure, and industrial sectors throughout South Africa.
His expertise includes construction management, project planning, contract administration, quality management, stakeholder engagement, and the successful execution of complex infrastructure projects. Throughout his career, he has contributed to projects ranging from residential developments and municipal infrastructure to large-scale industrial and mining facilities.
Sandile established Mtimande Engineers and Construction Managers with a vision of building a respected African engineering and construction company that delivers innovative, sustainable, and high-quality infrastructure solutions while contributing to economic growth, skills development, and job creation.
